Graffiti Art

Hip-Hop is a combination of many elements to make it the largest urban culture in the world. From B-boying on the street corner, to the colorful graffiti art on the walls, each element bring its own character and diversity to paint a vivid picture of hip-hop.

Graffiti is commonly recognized as writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed on a surface in a public place. Most of these great masterpieces are often found on walls, buildings or even bridges. Since ancient times, graffiti has evolved from the graphic inscriptions, figures or drawings found on the walls of ancient ruins to the artistic expressions representing a fraction of the hip-hop culture.

The relationship between graffiti and hip-hop arises both from early graffiti artists practicing other elements of this culture. It is often said that graffiti is recognized as the visual expression of rap music, just as B-boying is viewed the physical expression. Together, they paint a picture that has spanned centuries. So, whenever you see Graffiti, your looking at hip-hop history. Enjoy and stay FRESH !!
