Summer vacation has come to an end as Memphis and Shelby County students are gearing up for back to school. But, many students still go into the school year without the supplies they need to learn and succeed. Brand Name is bringing together the Frayser community to help students start their school year off on the right path by hosting the second annual Supplies 2 Succeed school supply giveaway. There will be live music, free food, fun, games, and of course, school supplies. It all comes down to getting the community excited and involved in the education of the youth's future. While students are hype about cool first day of school outfits, I think "fresh" is about learning, educating and leading the way for others.
Supplies 2 Succeed will take place on Saturday, August 11 at Ed Rice Community Center from 11am-2pm and is truly a worthwhile project
that will create a lasting change in our community. Get your education and stay fresh!
