Connoisseur of Fresh: Air Yeezy 2

Alright... I'm sure all the hype has calmed down from the recent release of the Air Yeezy 2's last weekend. If you have been under a rock, the Air Yeezy 2 presents a collaboration sneaker between Nike and rap artist Kanye West. Back in 2009, the Air Yeezy 1 was released and has been a favorite for many. So, this 2nd edition of the classic shoe was definitely past due for sneakerheads who have patiently waited for this exclusive release. So much so, that some resorted to camping out at their favorite sneaker spots across the country just to get a pair. However, adding to the anticipation, Nike only released a limited number of pairs found only at the most exclusive shoe stores and sneaker boutiques across the nation. Also exclusive to this release- Nike showcases two colorways of the Air Yeezy 2- a Black/Solar Red pair & a Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum pair. The limited numbers were one thing, but only selective locations recieved both pair meaning you had to be at the right place, at the right time. The retail value price is $250.00, but has already made it online for re-sale prices of $2,000.00 and higher. Speaking from experience from my camp out for the Air Yeezy 1 release, I still remember how that experience alone confirmed me as a "sneakerhead."
