Converse All-Star

What's on your feet? As sneakerheads, we collect and wear exclusive kicks that serve like a fix to our addiction of shoes. Some sneakers are very expensive that only a select few can afford to buy them, but in this case, being an "All-Star" comes at a small price. When speaking about legendary sneakers, Converse All-Stars always come up in the conversation. Started in 1917 by Marquis Mills Converse, the Converse Rubber Shoe Company designed a shoe called the "All-Star" composed of a rubber sole and canvas upper. In theory, it was designed to be an elite shoe for the professional basketball league. In 1921, a player by the name of Charles "Chuck" Taylor joined a basketball team sponsored by the Converse Company, which were rightfully called the Converse All-Stars. At that moment, a legend was born. Taylor began to host basketball clinics around the country and sell All-Star shoes along the way. Soon, everyone was wearing All-Stars from athletes in the Olympics to American soldiers in World War II. From there, the iconic shoe began to make its mark on history and throughout the decades to change the world. Now, these sneakers are popular among greasers, athletes, punks, grunge rockers, alternative rockers, surfers, metalheads, rappers, skaters and hipsters. That's a huge sneaker market coming from a shoe that is almost 100 years old. You can now find All-Stars all over the world in several different colors and styles. So get a pair of trusty All-Stars if you wanna become legendary. Enjoy and stay fresh!!!
