Networking In Memphis

Sometimes it's not what you know, but it's who you know. There are any number of networking opportunities in the world waiting for you to take advantage of them. Some may require more work and research to find than others; however, during my journeys as the Connoisseur of Fresh, I have discovered that there are quite a few right here in Memphis, TN. 

Networking in Memphis is an event where professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, community and civic groups within the Memphis area come to network and play. It is all an effort to make our city a better place to live, work and thrive.

 

During this monthly event, there is, of course, networking, but also complimentary food, massages, business books, and live music. The monthly event helps to maximize the community potential in Memphis while building a solid sense of community. I attended the most recent event and was overwhelmed by the number of connections I was able to make.

 I met some of any and everyone-- photographers, authors, personal trainers, and graphic designers. It was like a networking melting pot. I spoke with the CEO of Networking in Memphis, Mr. Kelly D. Price, who shared his take on the great opportunities that this event offers.

OMF: Where do you see Networking Memphis in 2 years? 

Kelly D. Price: I see Networking in Memphis being in a postion to help teach young business professionals and entrepreneurs about how to do bussiness.

OMF: What makes you Fresh?

Kelly D. Price: I look at the young business professionals and try to get them to see what I see, that our city has alot to offer.
