The Memphis Grizzlies have made a big impact in the NBA this year. The "Grit and Grind" mindset that the Grizzlies play with has earned them one of the best records in the NBA and the respect from a city that supports them 100 percent. The Grizzlies are 22-10, which positions them as a great play-off contender and a force to be reckoned with amongst the league. Recently, the starting five of the Grizzlies graced the cover of Slam magazine to show the world that they are here and they mean business. As one of the youngest teams in the NBA, originally established in 1995 with the NBA expansion into Canada, the Grizzlies have had to literally claw their way to the top to get some respect. Making their name in Memphis since 2001 and playing from The Pyramid to the FedEx Forum, the true blue Memphis style is paying off. In fact, Mike Conley, Jr., Tony Allen, Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph are all nominated for the 2013 NBA All-Star game. Under the great leadership of head coach, Lionel Hollins, the Memphis Grizzlies are definitely playing their way the top of the NBA rankings. Only the future will hold the destiny of the Grit and Grind Grizzlies; however, right now they are rocking your world. As always enjoy and stay Fresh!!
