What's on your feet? This fall, the Jordan brand will pay homage to a different type of legacy that will for sure kick butt. The sneakernation will be excited for the release of the Air Jordan Retro IX "Kilroy." Some of you may ask who or what is Johnny Kilroy? Well, after Micheal Jordan retired in 1993, Nike TV commericals marketed a fictional unknown player by the name of Johnny Kilroy who scored 79 points in only one quarter of play against the Charlotte Hornets. Some people ask if it was Johnny Kilroy or a cleverly disguised Michael Jordan? The "Kilroy" inspired sneaker has a silver/black/red colorway, featuring a black upper with silver trim and red lining. It also comes complete with Kilroy's #4 jersey number on the heel, the name on the tongue, and the slogan "Kilroy Kicks Butt" stitched on the inside. Available on October 6th for $160.00, there is no disguise about this shoe being one of the most exclusive sneakers this year. Check out the commercial Nike released for the mystery of Johnny Kilroy as well. Enjoy and stay FRESH!!!
