Memphis, Tennessee is where I was born and raised. Memphis is a city known for its rich culture in music and BBQ. Home of the Blues, Rock N' Roll, Crunk and some of the greatest Musicians in the world. Some of the most popular musicians--Elvis Presley, Justin Timberlake, B.B. King, Isaac Hayes--just to name a few, are all from the M Town.
The world famous Beale Street is a national historical landmark, and showcases the impact Memphis has had on American blues. In the 1950/60's, Beale Street was used to boost the economy in Memphis. Now it brings millions of tourist a year to see what Beale Street has to offer.
Memphis is home of collegiate and professional sport teams such as the Memphis Tigers and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Memphis Redbirds of the Pacific Coast League is a Class AAA baseball farm team for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Memphis is a great city that has so much to offer. It has made me the man that I am today. The community and city leaders represent the heritage that Memphis has with great repsect. Memphis is indeed in a class of it's own, and I am glad to call it "HOME." STAY FRESH !!
